As it has been observed in prior studies that turnover intention in the fast food industry is quite high and industries are facing challenges to overcome the phenomena. In this study, workload was found as one of the critical factor that lead to turnover intention. This study used a quantitative research method based on convenience sampling methods. The data was gathered from employees working in fast food restaurants with the assistance of a predesigned questionnaire. The data were analyzed while using SPSS and Smart-PLS in order to find out the relationship between workload and turnover intention. The results of the study revealed that workload significantly associated with the turnover intention. Based on the findings, it is important for restaurant managers to look over such factor to minimize the turnover intention.
