Abstract

This study investigates the influence of advanced analytics on corporate digital transformation by examining the mediating effects of data-driven culture and organizational agility in Pakistan’s banking and financial services sector. Adopting a positivist paradigm, the study employed a quantitative, cross-sectional, and deductive research design. Primary data were gathered through a structured questionnaire administered to employees working across banking and financial service institutions in Pakistan. A total of 411 valid responses were retained for analysis. Statistical examination was conducted using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), applying descriptive statistics, reliability assessment, correlation analysis, regression procedures, and mediation testing. The findings demonstrate that advanced analytics significantly enhances corporate digital transformation. The results further reveal that advanced analytics positively contributes to the development of data-driven culture and organizational agility, both of which significantly strengthen transformation outcomes. Mediation analysis confirmed that these organizational mechanisms partially explain the pathway through which analytical capability influences transformation performance. The evidence suggests that analytical investments produce greater organizational impact when accompanied by evidence-oriented organizational practices and adaptive execution capability. The study contributes to contemporary digital transformation scholarship by extending Dynamic Capabilities Theory through integration of analytical capability with organizational culture and agility mechanisms. From a practical perspective, the findings indicate that organizations should complement technological investment with institutional support systems that strengthen analytical maturity, employee readiness, cultural alignment, and strategic adaptability. The study additionally provides empirical evidence from Pakistan’s financial sector and offers managerial guidance for organizations pursuing analytics-enabled transformation strategies.
