The findings of this paper indicate that the major reasons for delays in giving feedback to students include the supervisor's workload, lack of clarity and ambiguity in policies, and communication problems and gaps. These delays in feedback have an impact on students' academic progress, which in turn delays their graduation. To resolve and overcome these problems, this study proposes a framework to emphasize the importance of providing clear feedback timelines, communication, and institutional support to resolve delays. This framework aims to enhance the quality of postgraduate supervision through better feedback practices. In addition, this study offers suggestions for supervisors, students, learners, and institutions to improve feedback practices and resolve delays to enable students to complete their studies on time. Thus, by resolving these problems associated with feedback, institutions can enhance the quality of postgraduate learning and enable students to complete their learning objectives on time.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Siazga Research Journal https://journals-uoli.com/index.php/SRJ/article/view/163 Overuse of Artificial Intelligence and Mental Health Problems among Youth in Pakistan 2026-04-02T01:42:38+00:00 Sabir Shahzad sabirsial4@gmail.com Ammad Ijaz journalsuolicom@gmail.com Shahid Iqbal journalsuolicom@gmail.com Areeba Akram journalsuolicom@gmail.com Nimra Noor journalsuolicom@gmail.com
This study investigates the association between the overuse of artificial intelligence (AI) and mental health outcomes among youth in Pakistan. As AI-driven technologies such as chatbots, learning tools, and algorithmic social media systems continue to integrate into everyday life, concerns regarding excessive reliance on AI and its potential psychological impact have grown. Despite the rapid adoption of AI-based platforms, limited empirical research has examined their mental health consequences within the Pakistani youth population. A quantitative, cross-sectional, correlational research design was utilized. Youth aged 15 to 25 years were recruited through convenience sampling from educational and community settings across Pakistan. The Artificial Intelligence Attitude Scale (AIAS) was used to assess AI overuse, while the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales–21 Items (DASS-21) measured mental health outcomes. Correlation analysis revealed significant positive associations between AI overuse and all mental health indicators, including depression (r = .42, p < .01), anxiety (r = .38, p < .01), and stress (r = .35, p < .01). Regression analysis further indicated that AI overuse significantly predicted depression (β = 0.42, t = 5.63, p < .001), anxiety (β = 0.38, t = 5.43, p < .001), and stress (β = 0.35, t = 5.83, p < .001), demonstrating that increased engagement with AI technologies corresponded with heightened psychological distress among youth. These findings support the hypotheses and suggest that excessive use of AI may contribute to higher levels of depression, anxiety, and stress. Overall, the results highlight the importance of promoting balanced and mindful AI use, encouraging digital literacy practices, and implementing mental health interventions to reduce the psychological risks associated with AI overuse among young individuals in Pakistan.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Siazga Research Journal https://journals-uoli.com/index.php/SRJ/article/view/164 Challenges of Integrating AI in School Administration 2026-03-12T10:12:15+00:00 Sajida Qaim-ud-Din sajidaqaimuddin97@gmail.com Zulqarnain Panhwar zulqarnainp097@gmail.com Samiullah Bhatti samiullahbhatti96@gmail.com Tufail Ahmed Abbasi tufailabbasi09@gmail.com Sindhu Gul Sindhu.Gul@gmail.com
Globally, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a growing trend in terms of enhancing the efficacy of work and making suitable decision in every field particularly in educational administration. In certain cases especially in the emerging economies where the firms are subjected to unstable markets, changing regulations, and institutional difficulties, the adoption of ERM is increasingly viewed as one way of leading to sustainable performance. Nevertheless, the achievement of the financial benefits of ERM is not steady enough, and the need to discuss the circumstances in which ERM can be value-generating. The present research will examine ERM implementation and financial performance of firms in terms of ROA, ROE and Q of Tobin with a moderating factor of presence of a corporate governance (CG). We use a multi-country panel dataset of Pakistan, Indonesia, and Malaysia (20192024) to estimate the effect of the governance structures on the ERMperformance relationship using a fixed-effects regression. The findings show that ERM has a positive impact on financial performance although its impact is much pronounced in companies with sound governance structures. Moreover, CG moderating effect is not the same in all countries with the strongest CG moderating effect being observed in more institutionally developed societies such as Malaysia. The paper finds that the governance quality is an important catalyst as it turns ERM into a value-generating strategic asset instead of a procedural exercise. These findings can provide real-world suggestions to companies, investors, and regulators operating in the emerging markets with the need to match risk management and governance excellence to promote resilience and sustainable development.
2026-02-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Siazga Research Journal https://journals-uoli.com/index.php/SRJ/article/view/160 The Impact of Inquiry-Based Teaching on Student Achievement in Science 2026-01-27T08:30:06+00:00 Rabel Kalhoro abbasirabel1@gmail.com Waseem Abbas Sarohi Waseemsarohi93@gmail.com Zaheer Ahmed Qadri Zaheer.mbian@gmail.com Ali Dost Alidost123786@gmail.com Muhsin Khan Khanmuhsin181@gmail.com
The aim of present study was to analyze the impact inquiry-based teaching on learners’ performance in science subject at elementary schools of District Larkana. It also examines the influence of the AI-powered tools on mentorship processes, professional growth, and instruction processes. Using a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups with trainee, in-service, and volunteer teachers, the study identifies both opportunities and challenges in AI implementation. It enables the researcher to identify the opportunities and barriers in the implementation process of AI in education. The results show that trainee teachers are more likely to be digitally ready and positively perceive AI than in-service teachers. This is because of a greater exposure to technology-based training. The application of AI was identified to be useful in lesson planning, customized instructions and reducing the workload. Furthermore, when it comes to suggesting feedback mentorship platforms as TeachBoost and CoachHub have not been used extensively. This is due to the rising challenges that the system is encountering. These key challenges are the low digital literacy, inadequate infrastructure, lack of institutional support and ethical issues. The research supports the conclusion that AI literacy programs must be considered as the resources necessary to close the gap of its adoption. This will enable them to get all the benefits of AI in teacher training and professional development in Karachi.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Siazga Research Journal https://journals-uoli.com/index.php/SRJ/article/view/165 The Impact of Lead-Time Variability on Supply Chain Operations of Retail Stores and Supermarkets in Karachi During the Pandemic Situation 2026-04-02T02:50:09+00:00 Fatima Shahid hussaini0333@gmail.com Rohail A. Karachi's retail landscape is diverse, featuring many grocery stores and supermarkets that serve both local and international modern trade. This study examines how lead-time variability impacts supply chain operations in supermarkets and grocery stores in Karachi, particularly in the context of the challenges posed by the pandemic. Lead-time, a critical factor, exhibits variability that affects overall supply chain performance. The research aims to investigate how this variability influences supply chain operations, with a focus on the moderating effects of the pandemic. Data was gathered through surveys distributed to supply chain managers from various supermarkets and retail stores in Karachi, each employing different strategies during the pandemic. Statistical analysis, specifically regression techniques, was utilized to interpret the results. The findings indicate that lead-time variability (LTV) has a significant impact on supply chain operations (SCO), and that the pandemic substantially moderates the relationship between lead-time variability and supply chain performance.
2026-04-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Siazga Research Journal https://journals-uoli.com/index.php/SRJ/article/view/158 Environmental pollution and Health Dynamics in developing nations 2026-02-08T20:10:30+00:00 Saif Ur Rahman saifrao12@gmail.com
Ensuring lifespan and good health became a hot concern for academics and governments. The literature has addressed a number of determinants, including socioeconomic factors. However, there are few empirical research on this topic in developing nations with low health indicators, such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Afghanistan, Iran, and Indonesia. This project looks at how economic growth, environmental degradation, and renewable energy affect life expectancy between 1991 and 2023. The Granger Casualty Method is used in this investigation. The research findings showed that economic development and renewable energy are statistically significant, but environmental pollution is not. The life expectancy is positively impacted by economic growth and renewable energy, in addition to increasing marginal effects. Additionally, there is indication of a causal affiliation amid naturallife prospect and fiscal evolution, environmental pollution, and renewable energy. In order to increase people's longevity, the study recommends making a financial adjustment to address health-related issues brought on by a lack of medical facilities and deprived cleanness. Because they will enhance fitness results without sacrificing monetary progress, clean energy investments are essential.
2026-04-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Siazga Research Journal
